It may have been a while since your parents were familiar with a baby and his or her routine! Our workshops, given in the comfort of your own home or at carefully selected intimate venues, are designed to bring grandparents up to date on current guidelines on looking after newborns and infants.
Including feeding methods, equipment and getting the baby to sleep successfully, the class will leave your parents feeling reassured and confident that they can help you out, as well as enjoy the family's new arrival.
Our workshops also make popular new-grandparent gifts to give to celebrate the birth! Why not treat your parents to a class or take it with them, so that you can all learn together?
We take over where antenatal classes end. What happens when you bring your new baby home? What can you expect and what do you do, hour by hour and day by day in the first few days?
An invaluable insight for first-time mums to de-mystify those early days and help you feel confident that you're doing the right thing with your new baby.
Emma only spent 3 days with us but the results were nothing short of remarkable. She has a very reflective but positive approach to advising a tired couple; not prescriptive or judging, just very warm and incredibly friendly. She is a very good listener, and you feel like you arrive at a successful solution together, rather than being dictated to or patronised which we have experienced elsewhere. The evening summaries on the day's progress were so uplifting we were able to reflect on the steps we had taken and the results and our son has remained in a steady (practical) routine ever since.

We first emailed Emma when my wife was exhausted from feeding our 5 month old baby on tap throughout the night and I was frustrated at not being able to help. Emma's role in providing us with prompt, reassuring and tailored advice twice a day was indispensable. Her wealth of knowledge in all things 'baby' is clearly abundant and her calmness, optimism and resourcefulness have been contagious. Its fantastic, just a few weeks on, to have a baby who naps peacefully during the day, sleeps contentedly and predictably throughout the night and for us to have undisturbed evenings together. Baby Jay is thriving on her new routine and I enjoy being able to spend time with her before I leave for work in the morning. Crucially all three of us get a full night's sleep, every night.
